This 13-year, barrel proof, single barrel from Augusta Distillery gives the vibes of well-cooked cherry pie on the nose, followed by honey syrup, and graham cracker, including aged notes of charred oak, tobacco leaf, and leather.

The palate is full of concentrated, fruit-forward berries that transition into a nice Kentucky Hug off the first sip. Dark wood sugars, dried cranberries, figs, raisins, and cherries follow. A long finish persists with tons of brown sugar and leather, with the graham cracker from the nose carrying through.

The mouth feel is thick with burnt brown sugar and maple, and more savory qualities on the second sip, with a slight allspice rounding out the finish.

The 138.1 proof stands up well to drops of water, which bring more floral and honey tea notes forward.

Overall, this is an amazing pour from a single barrel that we could not leave behind. This bottle alone will keep you warm this winter! We hope you enjoy it!
