- T8ke's Tasting Notes: Rich and full this barrel is all bakings pice and butterscotch. Well developed oak gives the sweetness a punch to pair but this is a big, rich, dessert driven whiskey. Caramelized sugars, toffee, butter cream, butterscotch and loads of sweetness. The palate has more spice to balance: pepper, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger with a second helping of that decadent dessert. Long finish, sneaky for 60% ABV with more dessert and lively spice once more.
