- T8KE's Tasting Notes: Rich buttercreamon the nose meets vibrant rye spice, a hint of waffle cone and cinnamon, brioche and lovely sticky toffee pudding. It's a sweet rye with gobs of underlying sweetness. The palate is viscous, a surprising amount of oak on the palate that wasn't there on the nose. Sneaky old, sneaky dry. Great structure and plenty of sweetness to balance, along with plentiful rye spice. Finish is long, it's got caramelized sugars, rich rye spice, some cinnamon, big buttercream once more and a sort of touch of dark berries.
