T8KE's Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Rich nose packed with raisin bread and figgy pudding, toffee and pound cake. Vanilla ice cream, creme brulee and rich malt pops with pleasant oak, some light pepper, a hint of minerality and fresh, lovely nutmeg.
- Taste: Palate is viscous and layered. Syrupy, touch chewy, vibrant and decadent. Pound cake, rich vanilla icing, figs and stewed fruits meets that rum and raisin ice cream character the Society picked up on. It's dessert driven with this gorgeous oak, dessert, stewed fruits with a touch of pepper, spice and minerality to balance.
- Finish: Looooong finish, the star of this nutterly proper show: nutty sherry meets stewed fruits and dates, toffee and more of that creme brulee and pound cake character.
- Overall: Vibrant, decadent, and Properly Nutty.
