- T8ke's Tasting Notes: The sweeter of the pair. Honey, toffee, butter cream and this gorgeous candied ginger note that layers in with vanilla candies and creamy custard. The palate is gorgeous and despite the higher proof seems to drink a little richer, a little easier. Creamy plum and apricot meets spicy pepper and plenty of oak. Nutmeg, cinnamon, a hint of ginger carries into the finish that's packed with creme brulee, nougat, lovely spiced pears and a gorgeous tobacco finish.
