T8ke's Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Rich oak, baking spice, candied ginger, tobacco and cigar wrapped with helpings of apple butter, cinnamon, old wood and the dustiness of old paper and must. Creme brulee, amaro, nicaraguan maduros and cedar, root beer, black pepper and boozy cherries.
- Palate: The decadent richness persists; cola, caramelized sugars, candied ginger, maple candies, stark pepper freshly ground, hints of espresso and blackberry, figs, apple butter, a prickle of candied orange slices and orange bitters, toffee, old, rich, dry oak. Heavy oak in comparison, mounting spice.
- Finish: Packed with cherry, orange peel, ango bitters, heavy oak, pronounced pepper and ginger, caramelized sugars, a hint of cinnamon, dry tannin and heavy tobacco, vanilla bean, toffee and lokum.
- Overall: Harrowing's final token of 2025; silhouetted by the crisp, bright, mornings of Fall and the impending darkness of Winter.
